2012 Elan Inverse Rocker 155
Still the lightest, still the best. Once again we’ve succeeded in our mission to build the lightest board on the market. But because we’re not just designers, but snowboarders as well, we know that light weight means nothing without performance. That’s why when it comes time to choose the core of the Inverse, the choice is clear. Skip the foam, pass on the aluminum, this is snowboard not a beer. And for maximum freestyle performance, a tip to tip wood core has all other options beat. Combined with our Advanced DG top and Carbon 360 technologies our Transfer Plus wood core gives the Inverse responsivness, stability and POP. We make the lightest snowboard in the world, yeah, but one run will show you that we also make the best snowboard in the world
CARBON 360- Our latest technological breakthrough does the seemingly impossible by making the Inverse even lighter. By replacing the lowest fiberglass laminate with a full 360 sheet of carbon, the board’s responsiveness is enhanced and the overall weight is reduced. Genius!
Trans Warp - The lightest base material known to man, made only for the lightest woodcore board on the market, the Inverse. Stone grinded for super-fast gliding.
DG top - Featured on the Inverse and Trinity models, our DG Top technology ensures that Elan produces the lightest snowboards on the market year after year.
Transfer Plus - No honeycomb or aerospace composites here, instead a tip-to-tail woodcore with beach reinforcement stringers to handle impact provides the flex and pop of wood and the highest strength-to-weight ratio on the market
DG70 top sheet - Acts as a load bearing material and as the carrier of the board’s graphic.
V3 sidewalls features two different materials for one smooth ride. A 30º-slanted sidewall is constructed out of two horizontal resins made of traditional ABS material and carrying power and energy to the edge.
